I have read very mixed reviews for Advanced Auto Care Center and I am happy to say that they made my day today! This is for the location at 635 NW 13th St Unit B. From making an appointment by phone with Maura two days ago, to arriving and checking in with Dave, I was treated courteously. (Note: this is a mom and pop shop and not a big dealer, so don't expect a luxury waiting room or hot coffee, but I will say their couches are very comfy!) :-) So my reason for coming in was because both of my 12v Auxiliary Power Outlets stopped working, and I wanted to get an opinion to see if it could be as simple as something like blown fuses. Initially, only my front one died and when I took it to my regular car care place (not mentioning names),THEY wanted to charge me $165+ to get an entirely new part and housing to repair. At that point, my second auxiliary (inside the center console) was still working, so I continued charging my phone from there. The second auxiliary stopped working on Wednesday and you know how much we need our chargers to work, so today the good folks at AACC discovered indeed it was just blown fuses. Thankfully they had me in and out in 30 minutes at a cost of only $11 and change. I would definitely consider using them again and am grateful it wasn't something more.
