I visited for the first time today and they earned this one star for the insult provided to me. I had to schedule an appointment for the service (as per the front desk agents request). I showed for my appointment on time. I wanted to take advantage of the free checks that are clearly advertised on their sign, which are visible from the street. The manager asked me if I’m going to allow them to work on my car. I said probably not today. He then asked why I would even bother having them check my vehicle. Well, sir. Maybe it’s because you’re advertising free checks. Think of that? I don’t owe you anything.

Mr. Gutierrez, I am sorry you feel that way about our shop. There was absolutely NO INSULT intended to you. When you came in you said you were bringing in 2 vehicles for the same free check ups with no intention of repairing the vehicles on a hectic Saturday. You were asked if you had intention to repair your vehicle so as to make sure there was plenty of time to perform any services for you that day. When asked the question whether you wanted to repair the vehicle that day you immediately said NO. You were then asked why you wanted to check them if there was no intention to repair them and you said"i guess not" and turned and walked out. We are one of the few shops that will perform the FREE CHECK services in the area and always perform them to the best of our ability sometimes even going beyond the point of what is normally done for FREE but you did not even give us a chance to speak. This review was very unfair to us. As stated you did not even give us a chance to make a work order and check any of the vehicles. If you would like to have them checked we ARE HERE TO HELP YOU. I am very sorry if you misunderstood our intentions.

I have been a customer of Advanced Auto Care for over 8 years with 5 different family vehicles. Maintenance and repairs are a fact of life with all used cars, and I have spent many thousands of dollars with Advanced Auto over the years on nearly every vehicle system from routine tires, brakes and fluids to axles, suspension, cooling, A/C, electrical, engine seals...just about everything. I am so thankful to have found a trustworthy, dependable, and high-quality shop in Gainesville to take care of my cars. I am a difficult customer and like to see pictures of things that are broken (See the root cause firsthand), and Advanced never hesitates to send my pictures or even let me come into the shop and inspect the vehicle on the lift before the repair. In addition to that exceptional service, they have ALWAYS fixed the issue the first time, with a quick turn around, and a fair price. (And the one time there was a mysterious electrical issue that they couldn't immediately identify, they sent me to another local mechanic who was an expert in that vehicle who diagnosed it right away.) I would highly recommend Advanced Auto Care to anyone! They are the shop I trust with all of my vehicles.
